General Terms and Conditions – Club Surf El Moreno Alicante
By making a purchase or booking through our website or any of our official channels, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms and conditions, which are legally binding.
Our goal is for you to enjoy the sea, learn, and have unique experiences safely. Although conditions may vary due to external factors (weather, safety, logistics, etc.), we will always offer suitable alternatives to ensure your experience is satisfactory.
Reservations can be confirmed by:
1.Payment of 100% of the total amount.
- Credit/Debit card
- Bizum
- Bank transfer (in the case of bank transfer, the reservation will only be confirmed once the funds are received in our bank account)
This method must be used well in advance of the activity.
Payments made outside of these procedures do not guarantee a reservation.
All these processes are designed to ensure everything is well-organized, allowing us to provide you with the best possible service and offer you a safe, fun, and fully customized experience. Our goal is for you to simply enjoy the sea and have a fantastic time.
3 ➤Weather and Safety Conditions.
All activities are subject to weather and sea conditions.
Customer safety and experience are our top priorities.
If sea or wind conditions prevent the activity from taking place as originally planned, no refund will be issued. However, you can instead:
- Exchange your booking for another activity available on our website.
- Receive a gift card valid for 12 months.
- Postpone the activity to a later date within 12 months of the purchase date when conditions are suitable.
This ensures that your investment always translates into enjoyment and learning, even if conditions change.
4 ➤Prior Communication and Adapted Courses.
The day before the activity, we will inform you of the sea and wind conditions that may affect the safe and optimal execution of the activity.
Surf Lessons:
We will only notify you if there will be very small or no waves.
If you decide to keep your reservation, the course will be conducted in an adapted surfing format, combining:
- Surfskating on asphalt or balance boarding on sand, as determined by the instructor and the group’s objectives.
- Use of high-volume surfboards or paddleboards to facilitate learning to stand up, even in very small waves.
- Specific exercises for posture, turns, and coordination.
Improvement of balance, body control, and transfer to real surfing. - Training in the water, even in very small waves.
These tools allow us to work on surfing technique and balance effectively in any adapted session.
Our adapted courses are common and successful for all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
Paddleboard excursions and other activities:
If your reservation cannot be fulfilled safely:
- You will be notified in advance.
- You can change the date.
- Exchange your reservation for any other service on our website.
At Club Surf El Moreno Alicante, your reservation is never lost.
5 ➤Changes, Exchanges, and Refunds Policy.
According to Article 103.l of Royal Decree-Law 1/2007, services with a specific date or period are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
Therefore:
No returns or refunds are accepted (unless the company cannot offer the activity or an equivalent alternative).
If you wish to change your activity:
You can exchange the amount for other services on the website.
If the new service is more expensive, you pay the difference.
If it is less expensive, the remaining balance will be retained as credit or converted into a gift card valid for 12 months.
6 ➤Attendance, Punctuality, and Modifications.
Please arrive 20 minutes before the activity’s start time.
A 10-minute grace period is allowed from the start time.
However, after this time, the activity will be considered completed, with no option for refund or rescheduling.
To change the date or time, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the activity.
All date or time requests received after 8:00 PM the day before the activity will not be eligible for postponement or refund, even for illness or other justified reasons.
7 ➤Validity of Services
All services, pass, and gift cards:
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- No extensions
- No appeals allowed.
8 ➤Specific Conditions of the Summer Surf Kids Club:
8.1 Policy on Use, Reservations, and Changes.
The Summer Surf Kids Club operates using a voucher system for 2-hour surf sessions, designed to offer a flexible experience throughout the summer season.
Vouchers can be used flexibly throughout the season and can be shared among siblings, cousins, or friends, always within the established age range of 4 to 16 years.
8.2 Pass Validity.
Passes are valid exclusively during the summer season of the program, from the last week of June (after the Bonfires of San Juan in Alicante) until August 31st inclusive.
Outside of this period, sessions cannot be used or redeemed.
8.3 Reservations and Organization.
Sessions are organized through weekly scheduling, depending on sea conditions, center availability, and student demand. Each week, available time slots are published across a wide range of hours, allowing families to book and schedule their sessions with flexibility.
The voucher’s use is subject to availability within the various groups and courses offered during the season.
8.4 Cancellations and Rescheduling.
If a client cancels a session at least 24 hours in advance (the day before), the session will not be considered used and can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
If the client cancels on the day of the activity or does not attend, the session will be considered used and cannot be recovered.
In the event of cancellation by the school due to organizational reasons or external circumstances, the session will be rescheduled at no cost to the client.
8.5 Changes, Flexibility, and Gift Cards.
Purchases are non-refundable once completed. If the student is unable to continue using the voucher or the family prefers not to proceed with the purchased product, the amount corresponding to the unused sessions can be converted into a gift card.
This gift card will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used to:
- Book other activities available at the center
- Give the experience as a gift to another person
The center maintains a flexible policy aimed at facilitating the use of the product throughout the season and across the different options available.
8.6 Groups and Activity Development.
Groups of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 students per instructor.
Weekly scheduling based on level, age, and availability.
Objective: progressive learning, safety, and a positive experience in the water.
8.7 Adaptation to Sea Conditions.
When sea conditions are not suitable for surfing, sessions may be adapted to Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) or other water activities, always maintaining their educational and recreational focus.

You must be 18 years of age or older to book.
The center determines if the client is qualified.
Please respect the rules, payment channels, and regulations.
Equipment Use:
- Check condition before use
- Return clean and in its designated area
- Report any damage
- Proper assembly
- Use of safety systems
- Liability for damage
Individual paddleboards:
- Breakage/loss/theft → €400
- Partial damage → €10–€150
Softboard surfboards:
- Breakage/loss/theft → €200
- Partial damage → €10–€150
Professional surfboards:
- Breakage/loss/theft → €300–€400
- Partial damage → €10–€150
Leashes:
- Loss/theft → €15
- Minor breakage → no cost
Fins:
- Damage or loss → €5–€30 €
Oars:
- Breakage/loss → €30
In case of non-compliance with these conditions, the agreement may be cancelled, and the client will be liable for any resulting damages.
The VAT treatment of each service (exempt or not) is applied in accordance with Article 20.One.13 of Law 37/1992 on VAT, and is detailed in the invoice for each purchase.”
